Pink House
The official home in Buenos Aires of the president of the Republic Argentina, this building stands since 1580, year in wich it was designed by Don Juan de Garay.
Many remodelations have been made to the original version.
The building that we can appreciate nowadays is the result of the union of two twin constructions.
Its caracteristic colour (that gives it its name) was chosen by Domingo Faustino Sarmiento in 1873 and never changed.
Inside the Pinkish House, there is a museum with belongings of all argentina’s presidents.
